WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event is alright for Solo Sikoa’s next fight.
Nick Aldis made a new match official for the next edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Aldis confirmed that Solo Sikoa will face off with Jimmy Uso on the show.
“Good morning everyone, it’s your SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis. It’s a beautiful morning. The sky is blue, the sun is shining. And it seems like a great day to make a decision about Saturday Night’s Main Event,” Aldis said. “And that decision is as follows: I have decided that Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa will go one-on-one and settle their differences in the squared circle at Saturday Night’s Main Event.”
Aldis didn’t explicitly say it was a title defense, but the copy included in WWE’s social media post confirmed the United States Championship will be on the line.

What else will be on WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event?
This will be Solo Sikoa’s first United States Championship title defense. He won the title from Jacob Fatu at Night of Champions on June 28. Since then, Solo has only competed once, in a tag team match. Solo teamed with JC Mateo in a losing effort against Fatu and Jimmy Uso on the July 4 episode of SmackDown.
As of now, four total matches are confirmed for Saturday Night’s Main Event. In addition to Solo Sikoa vs. Jimmy Uso, WWE also confirmed the following matches:
- Gunther (c) vs. Goldberg for the World Heavyweight Championship
- LA Knight vs. Seth Rollins
- Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre
WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will air on NBC and Peacock on Saturday, July 13 at 8 pm EST.
