There is a common saying in the realm of professional wrestling, ‘Never say never.’ The term is usually brought up when veterans decide to come out of retirement. In recent history, stars such as Lita, Trish Stratus, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Nikki Bella, and many more have come out of retirement. Now, another WWE Hall of Famer is coming out of retirement. It is none other than one of the owners of Reality of Wrestling, Sharmell Huffman.
This week on Reality of Wrestling TV, the man who runs the show, Andrew Jackson, came out and shared that La Princessa, Tiffany Nieves, had something to say to the fans. La Princessa came out, called the crowd peasants and then went on to call out the owner of the Reality of Wrestling promotion, Sharmell Huffman.
How did we get to Sharmell stepping back in the ring?
Nieves claimed that she has been constantly disrespected. She also claimed that she is far better than the legendary Sherri Martell. La Princessa then went on to disrespect Huffman and her hometown. Sharmell heard enough and assured that if Nieves continued to talk like this, she will have to beat her up. Following this, Nieves asked Sharmell to take the first shot and then pushed her away.
Sharmell also asked Andrew Jackson to book the fight.
Booker T took to Twitter to share the full segment, mentioning that his wife is indeed challenging Tiffany Nieves to a fight.
“Sharmell Huffman Challenges Tiffany Nieves to a FIGHT at Reality Of Wrestling,” Booker T tweeted. Reality Of Wrestling has made the match official. Sharmell versus Tiffany Nieves will take place at ROW’s “No Limits” live event in Houston (Texas City) on May 10.
The last time Sharmell wrestled in a match was in 2009 for TNA Wrestling.
