Seth Rollins’ new faction could be growing.
Cory Hays of Bodyslam reports that WWE has internally discussed expanding Seth Rollins’ faction with additional members. He noted that officials considered both Ethan Page and Ricky Saints as two of the names considered for the faction.
Seth Rollins formed his alliance with Paul Heyman at WrestleMania 41, following Heyman’s shocking betrayal of his Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, and best friend, CM Punk. The following night on WWE RAW, their alliance grew stronger with the addition of Bron Breakker.
In the following weeks, the faction continued to grow. Bronson Reed, once one of Rollins’ fiercest rivals, shocked everyone by aligning with the faction at Saturday Night’s Main Event. He attacked CM Punk and Sami Zayn, making his allegiance clear. With Paul Heyman orchestrating their moves, the trio has caused chaos throughout the WWE roster.
At Money in the Bank, Seth Rollins captured the briefcase for the second time, adding even more power to the faction. Now, WWE is reportedly considering adding potential new members. The faction could become an even more dominant force on the roster. If two champions like Saints or Page join, the faction’s strength will only continue to grow.
Matt Hardy says WWE is doing everything to make Seth Rollins ‘The Guy’
On The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Matt Hardy said WWE is doing everything they can right now to make Rollins the top star. “And I said this when we discussed last week, I like Naomi winning,” Matt Hardy said. “You know what I mean? I do like that. I think she’s someone who deserves it. She’s someone who can be the flag bearer of the division. So I’m totally cool with that, and I’m happy for her, on a personal level that she won. She’s someone who’s definitely deserving. So I’m totally good with that.
“And the Seth Rollins thing is fine. I like the fact that, you know, we thought it was a red herring. I thought it was too, I thought they would use this to elevate someone else. But they, they really have all of their momentum behind Seth Rollins right now, and they’re gonna do everything they can to make Seth Rollins the guy.”
