Chelsea Green recently discussed how influential Mickie James has been in her career and shared her desire to pass that support on to others.
While speaking on Limpin’ Ain’t Easy, Chelsea Green opened up about how Mickie James recognized her potential early in her career. When asked how it feels to receive that kind of recognition, Green expressed:
“I don’t think there’s anything better than getting positive feedback from not only your peers but from people that you looked up to. Mickie has been so supportive of me. Last week, she sent me ideas for pitches to suggest to the creative team. She is such an empowering force for women in this industry.”
Green reflected on how special the Empowerrr pay-per-view was, calling it one of the most unforgettable moments of her career. Being surrounded by legends like Jazz, Gail Kim, Madusa, and Mickie James added even more meaning. Now being a veteran, Green finds it exciting to think that she could become that same kind of role model and inspiration for the next generation of women in wrestling.
“I love when the girls slide into my DMs and ask me questions and want feedback. I want to be that positive force that Gail Kim and Mickie James have been in my life. I don’t know what would’ve happened if I didn’t have those women supporting me.” [H/T: WrestlingInc]

I really be dropping hints about this Netflix show all the time and I’m like, I have no idea what we’re allowed to speak on and what we’re not allowed to speak on. But what I do know is I don’t have a filter. They announced it. It’s called ‘Unreal. I only know what I filmed. I don’t know who else has filmed. Everyone at WWE is so tight-lipped and I’m not.”
