Piper Niven wants you to know that not all kendo sticks are created equal.
A highlight reel from a match between WWE Superstars Piper Niven and Alba Fyre in ICW from the WCPW Fight Back event in 2017 has been making the rounds online as of late. One of the clips features Niven and Fyre beating the heck out of one another with kendo sticks… or so we thought!
Niven took to social media this afternoon to reveal that those kendo sticks were actually carpet grippers taped together, tweeting out:
“Did you know that those aren’t kendo sticks? They’re carpet grippers taped together *Upside down smiley face,*” Niven said in a post.

Niven and Piper now find themselves together as a tag team in WWE. Working with Chelsea Green as members of the Secret Hervice.
