Bayley recently opened up about her relationship with fellow Four Horsewomen members Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.
Bayley, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Mercedes Moné collectively helped revolutionize women’s wrestling during their time in NXT. However, Bayley’s personal connections behind the scenes was not the same. Although Bayley shares a strong friendship with Moné, she admitted that her dynamic with Lynch and Flair has always been distant.
Currently at odds with Becky Lynch on WWE, Bayley addressed the long standing emotional distance with Lynch and Charlotte Flair on WWE RAW recap. “I feel it’s a little complicated, it’s a very, like, sisterly, family type situation when it comes to the four of us. If I’m being quite honest, I’ve never really been close to Becky. I’ve never rode to shows together with her, I’ve never been close to Charlotte. We never had that relationship of like, ‘Oh let’s go out to dinner after the show.’ It was different, so I can understand where this is coming from, from Becky, because it was never really there. I thought there was some type of unity there though.
“I thought there was some type of like – with the history and everything we had gone through, all the training and all the matches that we’ve had together, and everything that we’ve fought for and stood for in such an important time for women’s wrestling in the WWE. To come up and do this together, to bring change in the women’s division, I thought that was a bond strong enough, but apparently not after all these years, she still has some sort of insecurity and something against me that she’s still hanging on to, and that she still has to lash out on.” [H/T: Wrestletalk]
