Here’s what’s on tap for the show:
John Cena (c) vs. R-Truth – Undisputed WWE Championship match
Fresh off his successful title defense at WWE Backlash, John Cena will battle R-Truth in what is sure to be an emotional match-up for Truth.
R-Truth inadvertently helped his “childhood hero” (something Cena claims lacks any sense) defeat longtime rival Randy Orton in The Viper’s hometown of St. Louis. After the match, Cena hit Truth with an AA on a table that left wrestling media stunned.
The unseen AA prompted SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis to book Truth in an Undisputed WWE Championship match against the man who’s promised to “ruin wrestling” for everyone.
Jey Uso (c) vs. Logan Paul – World Heavyweight Championship match
Logan Paul may have blindsided Jey Uso with multiple KOs, but the YEET Master won’t let The Maverick count him out from a fight this Saturday.
Jey successfully retained his world title against Seth Rollins on the May 5 episode of RAW. However, the World Heavyweight Champion was caught with a right hand to the face by Logan Paul.
The Social Media Megastar is looking to capture his first world title against the man he has labeled nothing but a cosplay champion.
CM Punk & Sami Zayn vs. Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker
Seth Rollins had Paul Heyman pull the “betrayal of the century” at WrestleMania 41 against CM Punk and Roman Reigns.
The former Architect introduced Bron Breakker as the group’s muscle on the RAW after WrestleMania. The pair would attack Sami Zayn after the former Honorary Uce refused to leave RAW for SmackDown.
Zayn joined forces with CM Punk after the Second City Saint made his RAW return to confront Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins for their actions — setting up their tag team match for SNME.
Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre – Steel Cage match
Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre have been feuding since the infamous cash-in at WrestleMania XL. Both men would go to war in a Sin City Street fight at WrestleMania 41 that saw the Scottish Warrior emerge victorious.
However, Priest didn’t go down that easy as the Archer of Infamy took out McIntyre with a huge chokeslam through a table during their fatal four-way match for the United States Championship at WWE Backlash.
