Liv Morgan is a provider.
Liv Morgan is a woman of many titles: professional wrestler, champion, actress, business owner, and animal lover. While appearing on What’s Your Story, her Judgment Day stablemate Dominik Mysterio recalled a moment when her love for animals, specifically cats, came to the forefront during a WWE tour in Saudi Arabia.
There was a situation in Saudi couple months ago,” Mysterio said. “Yeah, Liv [Morgan] got us into a bit of a situation with this cat. The situation was we couldn’t find it at home, and she was already three days deep into this cat. She just kind of took one. I got news of it and I had no idea until we got to the arena. She’s like, ‘I had this cat living in my hotel room.’ [She was feeding it] tuna. She was ordering it her salmon. She was ordering room service for this cat.”
According to Mysterio, Morgan later tried to configure a way to bring the stray cat aboard WWE’s jet back to the United States. Fortunately, she found it a permanent home in Saudi Arabia before they departed.
“She loves animals,” Mysterio said. “We all do, I hope. But, yeah, that time she definitely got carried away. I feel like she just didn’t know what to do, so she took it. It was a fun situation…Shout out to Mansoor, one of our WWE security guards out there. He helped, he was like, yeah, I’ll take them in, so he took him in. He said his son has been wanting a pet for a long time, so that helped out. I think the cat lived large for about three days and then went back to normal food.”
According to show host and former WWE executive Stephanie McMahon, Morgan loves for animals extends so far that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion donated to her daughter’s project, an animal rescue.
Next month, WWE will return to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for WWE SmackDown and Night of Champions. Whether or not Morgan will temporarily take in another cat has yet to be seen.
