Fans were not happy with how WWE Survivor Series 2025 turned out.
The 2025 WWE Survivor Series: WarGames PLE emanated live from Petco Park in San Diego, California, this past Saturday. The event featured four matches, including two WarGames bouts for the men’s and women’s divisions.
The men’s WarGames match main evented the show, and it ended with Brock Lesnar, Logan Paul, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Drew McIntyre standing tall over Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, CM Punk, and Cody Rhodes. The match also featured an interference from a masked person, who helped the heel team score the win.
Following the event, radio host Adrian Hernandez posted a video of Roman Reigns having a staredown with Cody Rhodes, with the live audience erupting in a chorus of boos. The fans were clearly expecting something different from WWE and were disappointed with getting a simple staredown.

“Unbelievable. One of the most star-studded WarGames I can recall. The level of star power that was in there was second to none. Everybody delivered. When you have Brock Lesnar, who does not team well with others. When you have Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, CM Punk, Logan Paul.
“All these people that are in there putting things out at another level, and you see that competitive nature. The lobbying, the politics, the backstage tension tonight, you can cut it with a knife. It was epic. You saw that in people’s performances,” the WWE CCO said.
