DC Studios is gearing up for a huge summer with Superman in theaters this July and John Cena‘s Peacemaker Season 2 coming to MAX in August.
Earlier today, DC Studios dropped the long-awaited first trailer for Peacemaker Season 2, starring Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena.
The series will seemingly continue where the last season left off and is another property shifting over from the DCEU to DC Studios.
The trailer teases tension from James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad movie in which Cena’s character, Peacemaker, kills Rick Flag (played by James Kinnaman). Flagg’s father, Rick Flag Sr., will be on the hunt for Peacemaker this season, played by the talented Frank Grillo.
The end of the teaser also teases some multiverse elements, which could explain the shift from one universe to another.
