WWE legend, the late Earthquake, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025. His family received the ring on his behalf. Recently, his daughter, Joanna, revealed that she has been training to become a professional wrestler.
Earthquake’s daughter, Joanna, was recently a special guest on The Kelly Clarkson Show. During the interview, Joanna opened up about her love for professional wrestling and shared that she has been training since June of 2024, to become a professional wrestler.
“That’s right. When I was younger, I used to love watching wrestling. When I was 15, I told my dad that I wanted to do what he did. I wanted to become a professional wrestler. After he died, I stopped watching wrestling for almost 17 or 18 years. I tuned back in during WrestleMania 39, just a couple years ago, and remembered why I loved wrestling so much.
“So, in June, June of ’24, I decided that even though I was older now, I wanted to learn and to train to be a pro wrestler for the joy of it. So, I’ve learned so much about how to best my body, to believe in myself, to work hard. But I think most importantly, and most of what I sought after is that it has formed a new and really special connection with my dad,” Joanna said.
