It has been nearly four months since former WWE United States Champion MVP has competed in a match. It was a six-person tag team match where The Hurt Syndicate wrestled the team of Mark Briscoe and Private Party. Recently, the manager of The Hurt Syndicate provided an update on his in-ring status.
While speaking to Chris Van Vliet on his Insight Podcast, MVP shared that he has not officially retired from in-ring action. The former WWE United States Champion recalled the aforementioned six-person tag team match and shared that being in the ring wrestling once again felt very good.
“No, not yet. I got a little bit left in me. It’s funny. We did a six-man about a month ago now, give or take, and they were teasing me because I was actually in there for a little while, and it felt good. It was coming back to me, and Shelton said, ‘Are you ever gonna tag out?’ I’m like oh yeah, maybe I should,” MVP said.

The Hurt Syndicate has become a dominant faction in AEW in a very short time. Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin are the current AEW World Tag Team Champions.
