Le WWE Hall of Famer, Arn Anderson, est apparu lors de Starrcade la nuit dernière en tant que special enforcer lors du combat entre Bobby Roode et Dolph Ziggler. Il a d’ailleurs attaqué ce dernier, ce qui a permit à Roode de prendre la victoire:

The Hardys ont également fait une apparition lors du show, qui se déroulait pas loin de chez eux en Caroline du Nord. Les frères n’ont pas catché et Jeff est venu avec une écharpe au bras, suite à son opération à l’épaule. Les deux ont déclaré que ce retour de Starrcade était spécial pour eux car ils ont grandit en regardant les légendes qui ont créé ce show. Ils ont été heureux et fiers de présenter The Rock ‘n Roll Express, et Matt a d’ailleurs avoué être fan de The New Day, qu’ils ont également rencontré dans le ring:
