A WWE NXT star believes they are responsible for TNA’s new TV deal.
Earlier today, TNA Wrestling announced a new broadcast deal with AMC Networks, bringing its weekly flagship show, iMPACT!, to AMC. The show will begin airing with a live broadcast on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Curtis Culwell Center in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.
TNA will remain on Thursday nights. However, Thursday Night iMPACT! will have a modified timeslot, now airing an hour later from 9–11 PM ET. In addition to the cable broadcast agreement, the new deal also includes streaming the show on AMC+.
After a couple of TNA stars shared their thoughts on the new deal, Robert Stone decided to chime in. In a tweet, the former NXT authority figure credited his brand for TNA’s latest success while also taking a shot at former World Champion Mike Santana.
“NXT made this happen!! Not guys like @Santana_Proud,” Robert Stone said in a post.
Stone and his band of NXT midcarders cost Santana his TNA World Championship in the main event of the November 13 iMPACT! broadcast. The assault was followed by Frankie Kazarian cashing in his Call Your Shot Gauntlet Trophy to pin Santana for the world title.
