WWE SmackDown saw an increase in viewership on July 18.
According to Wrestlenomics, SmackDown averaged 1.546 million viewers on Friday. The show drew a 0.45 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode, when an average of 1.399 million viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week’s show (0.37 rating in the same demographic).

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?
This week’s show kicked off outside the venue with the MFTs trying to frame Jacob Fatu for a car accident he didn’t cause.
Andrade and Rey Fenix defeated DIY, Motor City Machine Guns, and Fraxiom to earn a shot at the Wyatt Sicks for the WWE Tag Team Titles next week.
Elsewhere on the show, Charlotte Flair defeated Raquel Rodriguez ahead of their upcoming title match at SummerSlam.
In the closing segment of the evening, WWE held a contract signing between Cody Rhodes and John Cena for their match at SummerSlam. The match will be a street fight.
