Brie Bella would love a return to WWE, but she’s OK if it doesn’t happen.
Last Sunday was the second edition of the all-women’s WWE Premium Live Event, Evolution 2. One of the marquee matches of the night was the Women’s Battle Royal in which WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella competed. Many had hoped to see her sister, former Divas Champion Brie Bella, present at the show, but unfortunately, she did not make it to the event.
Brie was reportedly in talks to return, but it did not come to fruition. Recently, while speaking on the most recent episode of the Nikki & Brie Show, Brie Bella revealed that she was looking forward to making an appearance at the Evolution PLE. But she was unable to. Bella also mentioned that she is content with where she is in her life at the moment.
Brie Bella also shared that she hopes to return to the ring one day. But at the moment, it is her sister Nikki Bella’s turn.
“I was yearning to be in Atlanta, to either watch live or I would have loved to have been in a match or been part of something. At the same time, where I’m at in my life, you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be… I am, too, but it’s Nikki’s time. Fingers crossed, I would love to come one day. If that will ever happen. If it doesn’t, then it doesn’t. That’s fine,” Brie Bella said. [H/T WrestlingNews.co]
Nikki Bella also shared that she hopes to see her and her sister reunite for one more run as the Bella Twins.
“I hope it does. I miss you. I’m getting lonely in the hotel rooms. Everyone wants you back. The Bella Twins are stronger than just Fearless Nikki. When we are a duo, we make magic happen,” Nikki Bella said. [H/T WrestlingNews.co]
