Roman Reigns made his WWE return last night with a twist on his old nickname.
In the closing moments of last night’s episode of RAW, Roman Reigns returned WWE programming for the first time since the RAW after WrestleMania to confront Seth Rollins’ new faction. Many fans noticed that The Tribal Chief was sporting a new shirt with the letters ‘OTC1’ on it.
The new nickname has been a talking point amongst fans, and it seems you either love it or you hate it. There doesn’t appear to be much of an in-between at the moment.
When a frustrated fan online noted on social media that the new name makes no sense because original and #1 mean the same thing, TC from WrestleVotes Radio responded, revealing the new name was Roman’s idea, tweeting out:
“Joe Anoa’i’s idea,” TC of WrestleVotes Radio said in a post.
What do you make of Roman Reigns’ new nickname? Do you like that they added a 1 at the end of his OTC nickname? Or do you think it was just a cheap ploy to sell more shirts? Let us know your overall thoughts by sounding off in the comments section below.
