It’s been a rough week for Candice LeRae.
The former WWE Women’s Speed Champion firstly competed in the WWE Evolution battle royal, with the winner earning a world title match at Clash In Paris. Ultimately, Stephanie Vaquer emerged as the winner. Meanwhile, LeRae suffered elimination at the hands, or rather hip, of NXT star Jaida Parker. In doing so, she was also referred to as “Candice Michelle,” a former WWE Women’s Champion, by WWE commentator Michael Cole.
LeRae’s misfortunate didn’t stop there. Following her elimination and misidentification at Evolution, LeRae traveled home to her young son, who apparently greeted her with a powerful kick to the nose. She later took to Instagram to vent about the series of events.
“How’s life?” LeRae wrote. “Well…. Michael Cole keeps screwing up my name (@itsmebayley was right about him apparently), the NXT girls are super disrespectful bullies, and then I came home to my beautiful son…. Who kicked me in the nose and busted me open. Doing great. But hey! I have new merch sooooo…. If anyone is interested in cheering me up…. There’s that.”
Candice LeRae, of course, is no stranger to being busted open as she famously took a thumbtack-filled superkick to the face from Matt Jackson at PWG in 2014, resulting in a bloodied face. Still, she walked out as one-half of the PWG World Tag Team Champions
