WWE SmackDown saw another decrease in viewership on July 4, with a taped episode on a holiday.
According to Wrestlenomics, SmackDown averaged 1.166 million viewers on Friday. The show drew a 0.32 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week’s episode, when an average of 1.450 million viewers tuned in. The demo also dropped from last week’s show (0.41 rating in the same demographic).

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?
This week’s show kicked off with a promo from Cody Rhodes. He was quickly interrupted by Randy Orton, and not before long, they were both interrupted by a returning Drew McIntyre.
Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair won a three-way tag match to earn a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.
Elsewhere on the show, Tiffany Stratton picked WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus to defend her title against later this month at Evolution.
In the main event of the evening, Jacob Fatu and Jimmy Uso defeated Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo.
