WWE’s third brand made its 2300 Arena debut on November 6, 2024, when NXT talent competed at the former ECW Arena. However, this is the debut event at The Met. The venue was previously used as an opera house, but now hosts concerts and various live events.
WWE NXT Philadelphia takes place one week before AEW residency
WWE seems to be actively counter-programming All Elite Wrestling, with the upcoming NXT show set to take place one week before AEW kicks off their residency at the former ECW Arena.
Speaking of counter-programming, this weekend will see three WWE premium live events hovering around All: In Texas with NXT Great American Bash going head-to-head with AEW’s biggest pay-per-view event of the year.
