Bully Ray says Penta El Zero Miedo broke the flow during the WWE Night of Champions 2025.
At WWE Night of Champions 2025, John Cena retained his title after defeating CM Punk. But the match took a dramatic turn when Seth Rollins, along with Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman, interfered. Their attack on Cena and Punk brought out Sami Zayn and Penta to help.
As Penta made his entrance, he focused on the fans instead of rushing to the ring to help Punk. WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray didn’t like this, he felt Penta’s actions broke the intensity of the moment and the match.
Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, Ray said “Here’s CM Punk, and he needs help, and Penta, was standing in the back, and you saw the screen and you were like: my God! CM Punk, ay, dios mijo, CM Punk needs help! Somebody hit my music so I can go help CM Punk! But I’m gonna high five, and I’m gonna look at the people, and I’m gonna do all this other s**t before I get there…You take me out of the moment!”
He explained that he wants to feel fully connected to what’s happening in the ring, and moments like this ruin it. “What’s right is right, and what’s wrong is wrong. Penta? Out of the moment. The referee holding the table? Out of the moment! I want to be fully immersed in the moment.” [H/T: WrestlingInc]
