It’s been a busy week for Carmelo Hayes and Kelani Jordan, as the pair announced their engagement over the holiday weekend.
In a recent post on Jordan’s Instagram page, she shared photos of Hayes popping the question to her. In a caption along with the photo, Jordan revealed she said yes, and would “say yes in every lifetime.” Other photos in the post show the pair celebrating the engagement, which took place in Maui, Hawaii.
The pair have been in a relationship for roughly two years, with the two likely meeting during their time together on WWE’s NXT brand. Hayes was a decorated champion on the brand, having won the NXT Championship twice. Since his call up to WWE SmackDown in 2024, Hayes has also been a prominent superstar on the brand. He won the 2025 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and has been featured in several big matches.
Kelani Jordan currently still performs on the NXT brand. She is a former NXT Women’s North American Champion, having won the inaugural title. Most recently, she has continued to perform at NXT, with her latest match being a tough loss to Lash Legend in a WWE NXT Women’s Title No. 1 Contender Eliminator match.
