The WWE Chief Content Officer, Triple H, has not wrestled since January of 2021. It was during an episode of Monday Night Raw. His last match was against The Viper, Randy Orton. Recently, the Cerebral Assassin confirmed that he will never return to the squared circle ever again.
This past Saturday night, WWE was live from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the Night of Champions Premium Live Event. During the post-show press conference, the fans in attendance were chanting at Triple H, ‘One more match. One more match.’ The Chief Content Officer mentioned that he does not have another match left in him. But also added that if he ever steps inside the squared circle to wrestle, it will be the last thing he would ever do.
“You can chant that all you want, there ain’t one more match in this,” HHH stated firmly. “You know how they say, ‘if it’s the last thing I do?’ [Wrestling] would be the last thing I do.”
Triple H was forced to retire from in-ring action in 2022. He suffered a cardiac arrest and was rushed to the emergency room. This resulted in the King of Kings having a pacemaker inserted in his heart. Triple H has previously said he was not wrestling again, and left his boots in the ring at WrestleMania 38. That still hasn’t stopped fans from calling for his return, but Triple H’s story has not changed, either.
