Jeff Hardy has been in the wrestling business for a long time and has probably taken more finishing moves than anyone during his career.
TNA Wrestling‘s Jeff Hardy was a recent guest on My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox. When asked what the most painful finishing move he’s ever taken was, Hardy said it was Yokozuna‘s Banzai Drop.
“Without a doubt, Yokozuna’s Banzai Splash,” Jeff Hardy said. “When he took his hands off the ropes, man. I was like 17 and it was incredibly — after he let go of the ropes, the weight, oh my God, it was wild.” [H/T: Fightful]
When Hardy mentions competing in a WWE ring at the age of 17, it should be noted that he had doctored paperwork to work enhancement matches for the company long before he became a household name.
