Dominik Mysterio won’t be on hand for this year’s Night of Champions, with WWE confirming that Mysterio’s match is off due to injury.
During Monday’s episode of WWE RAW, it was confirmed that by Adam Pearce that Mysterio was injured, and couldn’t wrestle at Night of Champions. He told the news to AJ Styles, who was set to face, Mysterio, during the show. The pair were initially set to go at it for Dom’s WWE Intercontinental Championship.
It’s currently unclear exactly what injury Mysterio is facing, or how serious it actually is. Pearce told Styles he would be the first to get a shot at the belt when Dominik is healthy, though. More information will likely come forward in the coming days regarding his injury.
WWE Night of Champions is set to take place on June 28, 2025, from the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The fully updated card for the night includes:
- King of the Ring Tournament final: Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes or Jey Uso
- Queen of the Ring Tournament final: Roxanne Perez or Jade Cargill vs. Asuka
- Undisputed WWE Championship: John Cena (c) vs. CM Punk
- WWE United States Championship: Jacob Fatu (c) vs. Solo Sikoa
