WWE has added another match to this year’s Night of Champions, with the WWE Intercontinental Championship set to be on the line.
During Monday’s episode of WWE RAW, the company confirmed that John Cena and CM Punk would face off for the Undisputed WWE Championship at the show. However, a new match between AJ Styles and Dominik Mysterio was also confirmed, with the belt on the line.
The match came together after Mysterio and Styles beat JD McDonagh in a singles match. Afterward, Mysterio tried to ambush Styles, but Styles was ready and hit Mysterio with a kick. Finn Bálor made the save, though, but Styles stole the title in the process.
WWE Night of Champions is set to take place on June 28, 2025, from the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The fully updated card for the night includes:
- King of the Ring Tournament final: Sami Zayn or Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes or TBD
- Queen of the Ring Tournament final: Roxanne Perez or Jade Cargill vs. Alexa Bliss or Asuka
- Undisputed WWE Championship: John Cena (c) vs. CM Punk
- WWE Intercontinental Championship: Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. AJ Styles
