Could Brie Bella make a comeback? It sounds like it might happen.
Earlier this week, Nikki Bella returned to WWE programming to hype up the upcoming Evolution 2. In doing so, she also came face-to-face with WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan. The return didn’t go as planned, as Morgan planted Nikki with an Oblivion after trading some tense words. While unconfirmed, speculation on a potential women’s tag title match pitting The Bella Twins against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez has begun to stir as a result.
This speculation has now been furthered after a new report. According to TMZ Sports, Brie Bella is currently in talks with WWE to come out of retirement. This would see Brie help Nikki “kick some ass” at WWE Evolution 2. The event is set for July 13 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Brie Bella has not wrestled since 2022
Should Brie and WWE reach an agreement, it would mark her first WWE appearance since the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble. There, she eliminated Nikki, her twin sister. Nikki returned to WWE television at the Netflix premiere of WWE Raw this past January. She also competed in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble.
Following her physical and verbal encounter with Liv Morgan, Nikki announced that she will appear on next week’s episode of Raw, which emanates from Green Bay, Wisconsin. In March, Brie noted that she still had a “few tricks up [her] sleeve” when it came to wrestling.
On WWE NXT, General Manager Ava confirmed that NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne will be involved in a match at WWE Evolution when she defends her title against the winner of a mini-tournament slated to kick off next week.
