One of the most heartbreaking news in the realm of professional wrestling was the release of former WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth. This release outraged the fans. The caption #WeWantTruth began to trend all over social media.
However, WWE heard the fans and at last Saturday’s Money In The Bank Premium Live Event, R-Truth made a shocking return. Following his return, he made an appearance on Monday Night Raw and cut a promo. Former WWE World Champion Big E reacted to the promo.
On Raw, R-Truth thanked the WWE Universe for voicing out their frustration over his release and also mentioned that the fans speaking up was the reason he is back in the Stamford-based promotion. Truth then mentioned that the truth had finally set him free. He then took a pair of scissors and cut his hair. Truth announced to the WWE Universe that he is no longer R-Truth and that he is not another gimmick, he is Ron Killings.
After seeing this promo, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Big E shared his thoughts on the ‘Ron Killings’ promo. Big E praised Truth for his promo and also mentioned that he cannot wait to see what Ron Killings does next.
“What an incredible segment. Cannot wait to see what @RonKillings does on this run,” Big E tweeted.
