Uriah Connors isn’t just feeling the taste of loss this week.
The injury bug has returned to WWE in recent weeks, with the likes of Zoey Stark and Chelsea Green being struck. Following this week’s episode of WWE NXT, Chase U member Uriah Connors revealed that he too had suffered an injury.
“[Just] a few chipped teeth and lil hole in the tongue… [nothing] crazy,” Connors wrote on Twitter/X alongside an image of his tongue, which had developed a pit near its tip. When fans commented their concerns underneath the post, Connors insisted that despite the unsightliness of his tongue, he was fine.

As of now, it is unknown when and how exactly Connors sustained the injury. He, Andre Chase, and Kale Dixon took on DarkState’s Cutler James, Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin in six-man tag action on NXT, with the latter team emerging victorious. Connors made his NXT in-ring debut last year in a losing effort to Shawn Spears. In more recent weeks, he joined the revived version of Chase U, which is led by Andre Chase.
Prior to joining WWE, fans knew Connors as Brogan Finlay, a standout performer on the independent wrestling circuit.
