Dominik Mysterio loves tattoos. He doesn’t really like his deadbeat dad that much. Dom even asked a young fan if his dad was a deadbeat like Rey Mysterio.
Despite the bad blood, Dominik still found a way to honor his pro wrestling heritage.
“Dirty Dom” got a new chest tattoo and showed off the final product on his Instagram Stories. Dominik got a set of skeleton-style “wings” under his collarbone, and the new ink is similar to the wings that adorn all of Rey Mysterio’s masks.
It’s also similar to the chest tattoo that Rey currently has. Rey has a full chest tattoo with an Aztec-like design, but you can see the outline of the wings in the same spot as Dom’s new ink.

Rey Mysterio is still proud of his son, despite the on-air friction
The elder Mysterio has been at odds with his son on WWE TV. However, he still feels a sense of pride about Dominik’s achievements in WWE.
“Oh my God! That title is very historic. Some of the biggest legends of this industry have held that title prior to holding on a world title,” Rey Mysterio explained. “As a father, that would give me the biggest sense of pride to be able to see him as IC Champion. You have no idea.
“As a competitor, I would be so happy. Because I would love to do nothing more than to step in and challenge him and see if he really has what it takes to beat his dad. And that would be an incredible challenge for me.”
Dominik is the current Intercontinental Champion. However, Rey is still sidelined due to a groin injury he suffered on SmackDown the night before WrestleMania 41.
