Jacy Jayne sent a strong warning to Stephanie Vaquer.
WWE NXT Battleground took place on Sunday night. One of the important matches of the night was the NXT Women’s Championship match between the champion, Stephanie Vaquer, and challenger, Jordynne Grace. After a hard-fought battle, La Primera managed to retain her championship. This Tuesday, Vaquer will be putting her title on the line once again against Fatal Influence’s Jacy Jayne.
Following her championship retention, Staphanie Vaquer got into an argument backstage with AAA stars Dalys and Chik Tormenta. As they were arguing, Jacy Jayne interrupted them and slapped the NXT Women’s Champion.
Following this attack, NXT General Manager Ava announced that Jayne will challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the NXT Women’s Championship.
Later in the night, NXT’s production team caught up with Jacy Jayne to ask him about her thoughts on the match. Jayne claimed that she would defeat La Primera and capture her first singles championship in the WWE NXT.
“Yeah, I feel good. Because I just slapped the taste out of Stephanie’s mouth. And come Tuesday, it’s going to get so much worse for her when I take that NXT Women’s Title off of her,” Jacy said.
