Will Ospreay is one of the top professional wrestlers in the world. He is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling. Almost a decade ago, Ospreay was offered an EVOLVE contract by WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman. Ospreay declined the offer and chose to stay with New Japan Pro Wrestling. It is safe to say that The Aerial Assassin has reached the top of the mountain. Many consider Ospreay to be the best professional wrestler in the world.
Will Ospreay was recently interviewed by Josh Martinez. During the interview, the Aerial Assassin reflected on the time when Paul Heyman offered him an EVOLVE contract. He claimed that the reason he refused the contract was because the offered salary was very low compared to his expectations. Putting the money aside, Ospreay mentioned that he loves Paul Heyman and has always admired the Wiseman.
“Listen, yeah, sure. Paul gave me that incredible moment once upon a time, where he offered me an EVOLVE deal years ago. I didn’t take it. The money was s**t, to be honest with you. It was lovely, but I love Paul Heyman. I grew up watching him, man. I’ve always admired his ability to evolve his character and to get into certain roles. He’s the man,” Will Ospreay said.
