WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash showered Rhea Ripley with praise by comparing her to Hulk Hogan.
Speaking on Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash called Rhea Ripley one of the most impressive stars in today’s wrestling scene. “Rhea, so athletic. She’s Rhea. Looks like she could, like she could go against probably 50% of the male roster. She comes across as bigger than life. Which, which stars do.”
Reflecting on past icons, Nash compared Ripley’s aura to that of Hulk Hogan. “I remember when I was a mark, and I saw it went down to Joe Lewis. I saw Hogan work, and I swore Hogan was six nine, because his was, he was just bigger than life, his charisma, everything else. It’s the same thing with Rhea. I thought Rhea was like six foot 185 pound girl, and she’s probably five seven, right? You know, she’s just, but, but on TV, the way she moves, you know, she’s just, she comes across as big of a life. Which, which stars do.”
Kevin Nash also highlighted Ripley’s ability to sell, “I said a long time ago on this show that you there’s so few people that sell and Rhea can sell, Rhea knows how to sell. Yeah.” After watching her recent match, he felt the booking didn’t fully showcase Ripley’s dominance. “Saturday, mom went to get her hair done, and dad was wrestling with the three boys on the king size bed, throwing them around and making sure he didn’t hurt anybody.”
“I think the psychology is, you let you, let you sell, and you let me make Rhea just keep, keep coming out on top where they they double team to chop her down right. Despite those critiques, Nash made it clear over with fans. “She’s so super over… I’m just a mark for her. She pulls everything off.
