The Street Profits will defend their WWE Tag Team Championships next week, against a group that scored a shocking win against them already.
During tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, the duo of Fraxiom defeated DIY in a tag team match. Following the match, DIY attacked Fraxiom after, only for Motor City Machine Guns to come down and make the save.
Later on in the show, backstage, the Street Profits complimented the group for the win. They also revealed that Nick Aldis had granted them a title match, and Fraxiom wouldn’t have to wait long, because it’d be next week.
Fraxiom was clearly very excited and talking about winning, even with the Street Profits a bit irked. The group eventually complimented the reigning champs, though, saying they were honored to get the opportunity. After the Street Profits left, Nathan Frazer said he the duo was “speedrunning” the titles. Now, he said, all they have to do is win next week.
Fraxiom scored a win against Street Profits earlier this month, in a match that stunned the champs and saw them congratulate the group after with a handshake.
