Rhea Ripley has had it with a certain section of the professional wrestling fanbase.
Women’s wrestlers have to put up with a great deal of things that the men typically don’t have to experience. As passionate as their fanbase is, some are incredibly toxic and attack the women who oppose their favorites. Something that Ripley has seemingly had enough of.
WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley took to social media to fire back at the same fanbase that has given her an unbelievable amount of grief in recent months, tweeting out:
“Women’s wrestling fan
- “women deserve better”
(Same breath)
- “she’s sleeping with her boss that’s why she’s where she is”
- “She should retire”
- “She doesn’t deserve it”
- “She’s handed everything and never worked for anything”
- “I hope she gets injured”
YOU guys are the real reason it’s so difficult to be taken seriously as a women’s wrestler.
If YOU put as much effort into your own miserable lives as you put into degrading successful women, then maybe you would accomplish something yourself,” Rhea Ripley said in a post.
While not all women’s wrestling fans are like this, there is a very large portion online that needs to be put in check, and it’s clear that Ripley is hoping her post will be a wake-up call to some of them.
