Priscilla Kelly, formerly known as Gigi Dolin in WWE, will face her fiancé Zachary Wentz in their first post-WWE match.
Wrestling Revolver has announced that Priscilla Kelly will go one-on-one with her real-life fiancé, TNA star Zachary Wentz, at the Cage of Horrors event in Clive, Iowa, on June 14. Zachary Wentz, a member of The Rascalz alongside Trey Miguel, has also appeared on NXT through TNA’s working relationship with WWE.
WWE released Priscilla Kelly earlier this month, marking the end of her run under the Gigi Dolin persona. She originally joined WWE in early 2021 and quickly formed the faction Toxic Attraction with Mandy Rose and Jacy Jayne. She captured the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship twice with Jayne.
Following the end of Toxic Attraction Jacy Jayne betrayed her Dolin. This led to two having heated feud that culminated in a Weaponized Steel Cage Match, which she won. Over the few years, Dolin competed in singles matches and tag team pairings.
Toward the end of her WWE tenure, she joined forces with Tatum Paxley and Shotzi in a short-lived group called Chemical X. Recently, Shotzi also exited the company after learning WWE wouldn’t renew her contract.
Now back on the independent scene and wrestling under her original name, Priscilla Kelly is preparing to step back into the ring this time, against the man she loves.
Gigi Dolin shuts down claims she didn’t work hard enough in WWE
Following her release news surfaced that many of the releases were due to management feeling some talents weren’t putting enough effort into training. Reacting to the news, Gigi Dolin shut down the narrative. She expressed frustration with the claim, “When I wasn’t traveling to work for either of the two companies I was working for, I trained very hard 3-4 days a week. Bumping my ass off and doing cardio drills with one of the best/toughest coaches I’ve worked with,” she wrote. “And worked out every single day. With live events every other weekend. So yeah I don’t wanna hear this lol. The way my body feels says otherwise.”
Cora Jade also weighed in, revealing that despite her hard work, she experienced body-shaming during her time with WWE.
