Many professional wrestlers have entered the world of Hollywood. Two of the biggest stars who have now become co-stars are The Man, Becky Lynch, and former AEW World Heavyweight Champion MJF. It was announced recently that both Lynch and The Salt of The Earth will be acting together in the upcoming movie Happy Gilmore.
Recently, Becky Lynch spoke to Variety. During the interview, she shared her experience working with the AEW star. She shared that both of them had great conversations. But claimed that she would defeat MJF in a promo battle. Lynch also believed that the Salt of The Earth would agree with her about her thoughts on the current WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria.
“I did. You know, a very nice boy. Great chats. Of course, he knows he’d lose at [a promo battle], but we had great chats. Unfortunately, it was way before this happened, but I feel like he would completely agree with everything that I’m saying about Lyra [Valkyria],” Becky Lynch said.
MJF took to Twitter to respond to Lynch’s comments. He completely took The Man’s side with regards to Lyra Valkyria, but at the same time, he is not sure about Lynch defeating him in a promo battle.
“Agree with Becks fully on Lyra, she seems like a horrible person and clearly a gross poor. Enjoyed my time with “the man” on set. A very nice girl and an upstanding citizen. However….. not too sure about her thoughts on a potential promo battle ? #BetterthanYou,” MJF tweeted.
