One of the most iconic moments in professional wrestling history was when the 1-2-3 Kid, a.k.a Sean Waltman defeated Razor Ramon in his debut match. It has been almost 32 years since that iconic moment took place. Recently, the WWE Hall of Famer reflected on his historic debut.
Recently, during an interview with Ariel Helwani on The Ariel Helwani Show, Sean Waltman reflected on his debut match against Razor Ramon. Waltman called it the most important moment of his career.
“Wow! 32 years. I’m just blown away. We all talk about how fast time flies and everything. But, I mean it’s just, it’s just like that, man. It’s all like, it’s all behind us. And that’s the most important moment of my entire career. There’s not even a close second… And like easily like one top three most important moments of my life as far as I’m concerned.”
Sean Waltman also believes Razor Ramon was the greatest mind in the nWo gang.
“Just so grateful to Scott. You hate to say like you take somebody for granted, especially some… You’re one of your best friends, like a brother, but I did. His brilliance and just like he’s gone and like all of that’s gone now. You can’t… As far as I’m concerned, he was the smartest guy in the car of the five of us. I mean, there might be some, somebody might dispute that, but that’s how I felt like he was just brilliant, man. There’s no one. Not too many people in this league when it comes to that,” Sean Waltman said.
