Becky Lynch is going to war with Bayley in WWE, and her friend Mercedes Moné is catching strays in the process.
WWE Superstar Becky Lynch was a guest on RAW Recap. When asked about her decision to refer to Bayley as garbage, Lynch said the two of them have never gotten along and that she’s hated Bayley for well over a decade, dating back to 2013.
“2013. Why is anybody acting like me and Bayley are best friends? I’ve not liked that woman,” Becky Lynch said. “Maybe like a month here and there, but then it’s either I’m gonna turn on her or she’s gonna turn on me. Because we do not gel.
“She’s not the example for the industry. No, she’s one of those people — this is why I needed to take her out, because this is what Lyra was saying. Oh, you didn’t help me. Of course, I did help you. I helped Lyra, but I didn’t help everybody else. I’m not going to help everybody else, because it’s every woman for themselves.
“Do we not understand this? If I’m helping everybody, then everybody’s gonna — I’m supposed to win. My job is to win. You want me to take food off my child’s plate, is what you’re saying. Because I will get paid more, the better I am. Why am I gonna help anybody else?”
Shots fired at Mercedes Moné…
Lynch believes Bayley is confused by this mindset and used the opportunity to take a shot at AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné, who recently started a pricey text message program to communicate with her fans.
“This isn’t show friends. This is show business,” Becky Lynch continued. “Bayley is so confused about this, she’s probably paying $100 a month to her best friend to text her.”
Becky’s comments got a reaction from both hosts, and even she had to put her hand over her mouth to stop from breaking character on camera. Knowing how Mercedes has operated in the past, we don’t believe this shot will go unanswered.
