Erik provides an update on the status of his wife and fellow WWE star Valhalla.
Last November, Valhalla and Erik welcomed their second child, Ezekiel Joseph Rowe, into the world. Since then, Erik has enjoyed a reign as WWE World Tag Team Champion alongside his in-ring partner Ivar. Meanwhile, Valhalla (real name Sarah Rowe) has returned to physical activities, with the potential aim of returning to the ring as well.
“Yeah, she is [thinking about a WWE comeback],” Erik recently told Insight With Chris Van Vliet. “She is a constant inspiration for me, she works so hard, she is so dedicated and disciplined. She keeps me on my diet so much better because she’s so disciplined with hers. She’s already running, jumping, throwing things, getting back into battle shape and getting ready. So yeah, I don’t know when this is gonna air, but I’m sure it won’t be too long in the future you start seeing her again.”
Valhalla last wrestled in a battle royal on the February 19, 2024 episode of WWE Raw in which the winner earned the final spot in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. This qualifier was ultimately won by Raquel Rodriguez, who went on to battle Tiffany Stratton, Becky Lynch, Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, and Naomi inside the caged structure.
Prior to this, Valhalla and Ivar notably defeated Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa in mixed tag team action on Raw. Valhalla also competed in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble, albeit only for five seconds. This appearance was memorable because of R-Truth, who mistakenly entered the match thinking it was the Men’s Royal Rumble match. While Truth was confusing everyone in the ring, Nia Jax eliminated Valhalla from the match.
