WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella said she’s open to bringing back Total Divas.
The reality show aired on E from 2013 to 2019 and gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of WWE’s female Superstars. It featured several current and former stars, including The Bella Twins, Natalya, Paige, Naomi, Nia Jax, Alicia Fox, Paige, Mandy Rose, Lana, Maryse, Renee Young, Alexa Bliss, Carmella and more.
During an episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki shared her idea for a Total Divas reboot. She suggested reuniting the original cast and reflected on how much changed since the show ended.
“I really, honestly, think….I get asked about it all the time. I really think there is something about all of us getting rebooted,” [H/T: Fightful]
“Our OG crew with maybe two new ones. Us three, Nattie, Paige, and Nia. We’re all still working, then we bring in two new ones. So much has happened. It’s like the ‘Sex and The City’ reboot, ‘And Just Like That.’ We could have our Total Divas ‘And Just Like That moment,’” she said, referring to the Sex And The City reboot.
Nikki Bella talks about Total Divas possible reunion with original cast
In February, Nikki Bella hinted at reunion with the old “Total Divas” cast in the WWE. She noted that there’s “a lot of noise” surrounding the topic, and a lot of WWE stars grew up as fans of the show. Nikki also said that a reunion with Natalya and Naomi inspired the idea of a “divas takeover” in the WWE.
“I’ve been loving the Total Divas love. This is what’s so fun, and I truly hope we do something with it because all of the girls that are there now—the newer ones, even some that were Total Divas fans—have talked a lot about it. So many of the girls are Total Divas fans.”
“When I see some of my Total Divas there, I’m like, ‘Okay, there’s something we need to do here.’ Even seeing all the fans online getting really excited about a Total Divas reunion and talking about Total Divas—it’s funny because Nattie, Trin, and I kept singing the song.”
