Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley paid homage to one of My Chemical Romance’s biggest songs at TNA Rebellion on Sunday night.
WWE NXT’s Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley, aka Fatal Influence/Chemical X, were one of the teams to challenge Ash by Elegance and Heather by Elegance for the TNA Knockouts Tag Team titles at Rebellion. The pair wore black shirts with red ties to the ring, which one fan correctly surmised was a tribute to popular emo-rock band My Chemical Romance.
The fan asked if Dolin and Paxley were wearing MCR-themed attire on Twitter/X. Dolin replied, confirming their suspicions, with a GIF from the “Helena” music video. “Helena” was the second single from the band’s monumental 2004 album, Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, and the music video also featured the same black and red attire as Dolin and Paxley competed in. Black and red was the band’s signature look during the Three Cheers era, before they transitioned into the Black Parade era highlighted by black-and-white marching band uniforms.
