La WWE a finalement bien organisé trois combats lors du Kickoff de Wrestlemania 33. Lors de la première heure Neville a conservé le titre Cruiserweight contre Austin Aries.
Dean Ambrose a également plus tard lui aussi conservé son titre contre Baron Corbin. Ce match n’était au départ pas prévu pour être dans le Kickoff et a été ajouté au dernier moment.

Enfin entre ces deux combats, Mojo Rawley a remporté la quatrième Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, en éliminant Jinder Mahal en dernier. A noter que l’indien a eu quelques tensions avec l’ami de Mojo Rawley et joueur de NFL chez les New England Patriots, Rob Gronkowski. Ce dernier est d’ailleurs intervenu dans le match.

A noter que Braun Strowman et Big Show ont été éliminé très tôt pendant le match. Show a été éliminé par Braun tandis que ce dernier fut éliminer par une grosse partie des combattants encore présents dans le ring.
A noter également l’énorme performance du rookie de la NXT, Killian Dain, qui a terminé dans les trois derniers.
