Former WWE Superstar Carlito recalls taking brutal spear from Bron Breakker.
The moment took place on the April 7, 2025 episode of WWE RAW, during the buildup to the Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania 41. After Penta El Zero Miedo picked up a big win over Dominik Mysterio, things quickly turned chaotic. Carlito and Mysterio of The Judgment Day, attacked Penta in frustration after the match.
Just as the beatdown continued, Bron Breakker stormed into the ring. Fired up, Breakker charged at Carlito and delivered a vicious spear that left fans stunned. The impact was so intense that the moment quickly spread across social media, with many calling it one of Breakker’s most brutal spears yet.
In a recent interview with D-Von Dudley’s Youtube channel, Carlito looked back on the viral moment. Carlito said the spear was even more terrifying up close and remembered how quickly Breakker closed the distance.
“Uh, it is, it is scary to look at up close. I think it depends on how he feels about you. You know what I mean? The impact, um, this one, yeah, this one was, was, uh, was, was pretty intense. I just remember him running at me. I’m, you know, I’m ready, and then all of a sudden he takes off in the air. I was like, wait a minute. What’s going on here? Luckily I didn’t have to do much on my part. That was here. Just getting hit and going with it, and I played dead too.” [H/T: Fightful]
While Carlito mentioned that he “played dead” after taking Bron Breakker’s spear on RAW, he found himself on the receiving end once again just days later at WrestleMania 41. During the chaos of the Intercontinental Championship match, Breakker delivered another massive spear this one driving Carlito straight through the commentary table.
