The New Wave DLC celebrity guest character for WWE 2K25 has been canceled.
Back in May, 2K announced on social media that the celebrity guest character in the New Wave DLC pack would be announced by WWE in the coming weeks. Two months later, we finally have an update on the situation.
WWE Games announced this evening that the celebrity guest DLC character from the New Wave pack has been canceled and will be replaced by El Grande Americano. The only holdup with this is that the character won’t be available until September.
“El Grande Americano will replace the New Wave Pack’s celebrity guest. With unique entrance video/music + moveset, he will be automatically entitled to players who own the New Wave Pack, Season Pass, Ringside Pass, Deadman Edition + Bloodline Edition in September. #WWE2K25,” WWE Games said in a post.
Travis Scott was long rumored to be the mystery guest DLC character in the New Wave pack. However, it appears something broke down between both parties that stopped this from happening.
