There’s a popular online theory regarding heat between The Rock and Triple H and a behind-the-scenes power struggle to take over WWE. This is something Matt Riddle believes is accurate.
MLW World Champion Matt Riddle recently spoke with Going Ringside. When asked if he believed the rumors that there is heat between Triple H and The Rock in WWE, Riddle said he believes all of it and proceeded to explain why.
“Yeah, I believe all of it,” Matt Riddle said. “I really do. I think with the stocks being up for grabs, people selling, because I know Vince has sold, Steph has sold, Nick Khan has sold. A lot of people are selling their stock, and usually you don’t do that unless something’s going on behind closed doors. And honestly think there’s already a power struggle when I was there.
“They keep trying to get Vince out, and trying for Steph and Triple H to get in that position. And now that they got him out, now it’s Endeavor trying to get them out, or Rock, or whoever it is. So I think that’s just the nature of the beast.”
It’s worth noting that Riddle is reacting to a rumor, and also said he’d “heard” CM Punk was a headache to deal with, despite not sharing a locker room with him.
