Jacy Jayne is basking in the glory.
There’s a new NXT Women’s Champion in town, and her name is Jacy Jayne. The Fatal Influence member secured the title in controversial fashion on this week’s episode of WWE NXT, largely due to the help of her stablemates Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx.
While Nyx distracted the referee, Henley nailed the defending champion, Stephanie Vaquer, with a swinging kick. With Vaquer dazed, Jayne then capitalized with a spinning elbow to gain the match and title-winning pinfall.
“To everyone who ever doubted me, called me the third wheel, said I’d never make it… HAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!! Never doubt me again,” Jayne wrote on Twitter/X on the heels of her NXT Women’s Championship victory.

In her four years under the NXT banner, Jayne has been a part of two prominent factions — Toxic Attraction and Fatal Influence. The first affiliation resulted in two reigns as NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion. With Fatal Influence, Jayne initially watched Henley capture the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Now, she has a singles title of her own.
Following Jayne’s shocking win over her, Vaquer is reportedly set to join the WWE Raw brand. Jordynne Grace, a recent challenger to the NXT Women’s Champion, will reportedly ascend to the main roster as well.
