The Ring General will have a chance to get his lost WWE World Heavyweight Championship back next month.
During tonight’s episode of WWE RAW, Gunther interrupted a segment featuring Jey Uso. In a back-and-forth, Gunther took shots at Uso, saying he wasn’t equipped to be a champion. Between fetting attacked by people like Bron Breakker and Logan Paul, Gunther said Uso isn’t used to being a winner like this.
Gunther then revealed that he would be challenging the winner of his match with Logan Paul for the title. Uso and Paul will face off at next week’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event for the belt. The Ring General said that he’d be taking back the title from either man, but Uso had finally heard enough.
The reigning champion said that he knows exactly who he is, a champion. He said he’ll show “the YouTuber” that next week, and then show Gunther again. He took another shot at Gunther tapping out in their match at WrestleMania 41 before yeet-ing and walking off.
