Is CM Punk heading to Saudi Arabia next month for WWE Night of Champions?
Earlier tonight on Backlash, WWE aired a commercial for the upcoming Night of Champions premium live event in Saudi Arabia on June 28. You can check out that advertisement in the embedded video below:

While this typically isn’t a surprise, CM Punk being featured in the commercial was.
Punk has been very outspoken in recent years about WWE’s relationship with Saudi Arabia and claimed he would never do an event there.
One of the most infamous instances of Punk’s disdain for WWE’s relationship with Saudi Arabia came back in 2020 when he took shots at The Miz for taking part in these events. You can see that deleted tweet as an image below:
There’s a slim chance that Punk could have been advertised in error. However, WWE rarely makes mistakes like this.
