A major title match has been announced for the upcoming TNA Under Siege pay-per-view. The current TNA World Tag Team Champions Nic and Ryan Nemeth, will be defending their titles against former TNA Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy and a mystery partner.
The Nemeths became the TNA World Tag Team Champions by defeating The Hardys at the Rebellion pay-per-view.
Last night on TNA iMPACT, The Hardys called out the Nemeth brothers and demanded a rematch for the tag titles. The Nemeths decided to give the Hardys the rematch they were asking for. But they were a little crafty with it. They said that the rematch will be a Ladder match at the Under Siege pay-per-view. But the Hardys will not be able to compete at the pay-per-view. This year, Under Siege will be taking place at Ontario, Canada. Unfortunately, due to his past issues such as possession of drugs, Jeff Hardy is banned from the United Kingdom and Canada. So, the Nemeths claimed that the match is cancelled and they will remain the tag team champions forever.
The Director of Authority, Santino Marella, came out and announced that next week, for the first time in 16 years, and for the first time in TNA history, Jeff Hardy will wrestle former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Nic Nemeth.
Adding to this, Marella also announced that at TNA Under Siege, The Nemeths will defend the World Tag Team Titles against Matt Hardy and a partner of his choosing.
